When we started D&S Photo, we wanted to build something that reflected our own journey. As a couple (and now a family), we know that the best photos aren’t always the ones where everyone is looking at the camera and smiling perfectly. The Seacoast (Portsmouth & Rye): From the historic brick alleyways of downtown Portsmouth to the rugged shoreline of Odiorne Point State Park, the seacoast offers incredible variety. We love the “surf and turf” vibe of Great Island Common, where you can get woodsy forest shots and lighthouse backdrops in a single walk.
The White Mountains: For those who don’t mind a little adventure, places like Echo Lake or the scenic overlooks along the Kancamagus Highway provide a dramatic, epic scale that is hard to beat, especially during peak foliage.
Lakes Region Charms: Lake Winnipesaukee and Squam Lake offer that classic New England summer feel. Think docks, sunset reflections on the water, and a relaxed, barefoot atmosphere that makes for stunning family portraits.
